ISTAT releases November consumer and business confidence data (0900 GMT) and October producer prices data (1000 GMT).
ECB releases October data on Italian banks domestic government bond holdings.

Treasury sells 2.75-3.25 billion euros 3.00% BTP bonds due Oct. 1, 2029; 1.75-2.0 billion euros 3.85% BTP bonds due Feb. 1, 2035; 1.0-1.5 billion euros 2.45% BTP bonds due Sept. 1, 2033; 1.0-1.5 billion euros CCTeu bonds due April 15, 2032. Subscriptions close at 1000 GMT.

UNICREDIT CRDI.MI
French asset manager Amundi AMUN.PA holds a 1.3% stake in Italy's second-largest bank on behalf of its clients, Europe's biggest fund management company said in reply to a Reuters query.
Moody's affirmed its 'Baa1' rating on UniCredit's deposit and senior unsecured debt. Should the acquisition of Banco BPM BAMI.MI be finalised, the creditworthiness of UniCredit would remain broadly stable, according to Moody's. The rating agency reaffirmed that, in the event of UniCredit acquiring Commerzbank CBKG.DE, it may upgrade the bank's stand-alone rating (Baseline Credit Assessment), currently at 'baa3', to 'baa2'.
LEONARDO LDOF.MI
A partnership involving Italy, Britain and Japan to build an advanced front-line fighter jet (GCAP) will likely be extended to Saudi Arabia, Italy's Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Wednesday. Firms including Leonardo, BAE Systems BAES.L and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 7011.T have been involved in the project.

The Franco-Italian carmaker said on Wednesday it will again halt auto production at its historic Italian Mirafiori plant from Dec. 2 to Jan. 5 due to continuing poor sales for the electric Fiat 500 city car made there.
SNAM SRG.MI
The board of Italy's gas grid operator on Wednesday approved a potential bond issue of up to $3 billion over the next 18 months in multiple tranches.
