POLITICS

Voting ends at 1400 GMT for local elections in the northern region of Emilia Romagna and the central region of Umbria.


ECONOMY

In its Nov. 2024 monthly report, published on Saturday, the Italian Banking Association (ABI) said market interest rates had fallen since October 2023. This downward trend continued in recent weeks following the European Central Bank decision to cut rates and also anticipating further ECB decisions, it said.


COMPANIES

UNICREDIT CRDI.MI

Commerzbank CBKG.DE and Italy's second biggest lender held a round of investor talks this week, a person briefed on the matter said on Friday, the second such interaction since UniCredit disclosed in September that it had snapped up a significant stake in the German lender.

A filing by Italian Bourse watchdog Consob on Friday showed that Goldman Sachs held a 5.61% stake in UniCredit as of Nov. 8, 4.36% of which in derivatives and 1.02% with voting rights.


ENEL ENEI.MI

(*) Italy's biggest utility said on Monday it would lift its minimum dividend for the 2025-2027 period to 0.46 euros per share from 0.43 euros previously. In its updated three-year plan, the state-controlled group said it would invest around 43 billion euros ($45 billion), 7 billion euros more than previously envisaged in the 2024-2026 strategy.

Enel's Spanish subsidiary Endesa said on Friday it agreed to buy 626 megawatts (MW) of hydroelectric assets from power company Acciona Energia for 1 billion euros.

PRYSMIAN PRY.MI

The world's largest cable maker said on Friday it had approved a 3-billion-euro ($3.17 billion) programme of bondissuance.


LEONARDO LDOF.MI

Fitch Ratings said on Friday it had improved its outlook on the Italian defence company to 'positive' from 'stable', while affirming its 'BBB-' rating.

The Chief Executive of the Europ Assistance unit, Antoine Parisi, told La Stampa daily on Monday he expects revenues of more than 3.5 billion euros this year, including 1.3 billion euros in the U.S., and said the aim is to grow in the Asia-Pacific region.

Berenberg on Monday cut its rating to 'hold' from 'buy', raised the target price to 42 euros from 40 euros.


MOLTIPLY MOL.MI

The financial firm has emerged as the only bidder for German media group ProSiebenSat.1's price comparison portal Verivox, two sources close to the matter said on Friday.

AQUAFIL ECNL.MI

Starts capital increase; ends on Dec. 5.


SALCEF GROUP SCFG.MI

Second of two-day suspension from negotiations on Euronext Milan ahead of de-listing.
