ECONOMY

ISTAT releases March industrial output data (0800 GMT); monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in March and April (0900 GMT); February industry sales data (1000 GMT).

Bank of Italy releases March data on Italian residents deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks.


DEBT

Orders for Italy's new six-year BTP Valore retail bond reached 10.3 billion euros ($11.05 billion) in the first four days of the offer, far less than in a similar previous issuance in February, Milan bourse data showed on Thursday.

The Italian utility said on Thursday its first-quarter core profit rose 12% year on year driven by a strong growth in hydroelectric production.


MEDIOBANCA MDBI.MI

(*) The Italian lender said on Friday it would pay 421 million euros as an interim dividend this month after beating estimates for its third-quarter results.

The Italian asset manager said on Thursday it was confident of exceeding its profit target for the year, after reporting a drop in first-quarter net profit when adjusted for one-off accounting and tax items.


BFF BANK BFF.MI

The bank said on Thursday it had been instructed by the Bank of Italy to suspend dividend and bonus payments due to issues about the way it was classifying credits towards the state. Borsa Italiana said it banned orders without price limit on the stock until further notice.


IVECO IVG.MI

(*) The Italian truck and bus maker on Friday reported a 38% rise in first-quarter operating profit with margin improvements in all business segments.

The building group said on Friday its Fisia Impianti unit had won a contract worth 91 million euros for enlarging and managing a waste water treatment plant in Northern Italy.

The Italian premium brake maker posted a 5% yearly increase in its first quarter core profit on Thursday, as revenues in the period topped the one billion euro quarterly threshold for the first time.


PIRELLI PIRC.MI

The Italian tyre-maker said on Thursday its adjusted operating profit rose 5.8% in the first quarter of the year, as the group benefited from efficiencies.


FINCANTIERI FCT.MI, LEONARDO LDOF.MI

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri said on Thursday it had bought defence company Leonardo's Underwater Armament Systems (UAS), in a deal giving the submarine business line an enterprise value of 415 million euros ($447.20 million)


FERRAGAMO SFER.MI

Revenues at Italian luxury group Salvatore Ferragamo SFER.MI fell 16.6% at constant exchange rates in the first quarter, with China proving difficult and amid a general slowdown in sales in all geographies and channels.
