NEW YORK, Aug 1 (Reuters) -Independent U.S. refiner HF Sinclair plans to run its refineries between 570,000 and 600,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the third quarter, or 80% to 84% of their combined capacity of 716,480 bpd, the company said on Thursday.

The Dallas-based company moved up the start date of a planned turnaround at its 162,000 bpd-refinery in El Dorado, Kansas to September from Q4, executives said during its second-quarter earnings call.

The company expects to spend around $800 million in sustaining capital for the full year, including refinery overhauls and catalyst changes.
