** In a separate statement, Brookfield informs about exclusivity agreement signed with its shareholders to assess the potential transaction

** Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias reported on Sunday the deal could be worth around 5.5 billion euros ($5.95 billion), in line with the company's market cap at Friday's close

** JP Morgan highlights the bid and price are still uncertain, but adds the suggested 5.5 bln euros may not benefit current shareholders

** Spanish regulator CNMV halted Grifols' trading shortly before the market open until 12:00 CEST

** Up to the previous session's close, shares were down 41.8%​ year-to-date

** Shares on track for best day ever, and including session's rise, stock down 30.09% YTD
