French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday said he was convinced that the CETA free-trade agreement between the European Union and Canada would eventually be formally ratified by all members. French senators earlier this year hit the brakes on ratifying the deal in response to hefty farmer protests.

Deliveries are closing September at a slower pace than a year ago, raising increased questions over the European planemaker's ability to hit a revised annual target, analysts and industry sources said.
BOUYGUES BOUY.PA
Bouygues said on Thursday it won a contract to redevelop Ryde Hospital in Australia as part of a total investment of 526.8 million Australian dollars (324.81 million euros).

The French oil major said it did not know about the torture and killings of civilians that were alleged to have taken place in 2021 on the site of its planned future Mozambique LNG plant, responding to a media report.

The group plans to pay out a second interim dividend after it reported a 12.8% increase in sales for the 2023-2024 financial year, driven by its motorhome business, which continues to benefit from a buoyant market.
