U.S. PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE:
Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris put Republican Donald Trump on the defensive at a combative presidential debate on Tuesday with a stream of attacks on abortion limits, his fitness for office and his myriad legal woes, as both candidates sought a campaign-altering moment in their closely fought election.
AIRBUS AIR.PA:
The head of European planemaker Airbus AIR.PA said novel open-rotor technology being tested by engine maker CFM International offers promising efficiencies and reductions in emissions but the "jury is out" on whether it will be commercially viable.
CARREFOUR CARR.PA:
French retail distribution group Carrefour CARR.PA placed 750 million euros in 8-year sustainability-linked bond with a coupon of 3.625% per annum and maturity and payment in october 2032.
GAZTRANSPORT ET TECHNIGAZ GTT.PA:
The French enginering company GTT GTT.PA received two tank design orders for eight new LNG carriers from two Korean shipyards both on behalf of an undisclosed ship-owner.
INPOST INPST.AS:
The bookrunner Jefferies Interest said AI Prime & CY launched an accelerated secondary placement of 4% of Inpost INPST.AS existing share capital.
LDC LOUP.PA:
Société LDC LOUP.PA announced dividing by two of nominal value of its shares with a stock split to take effect on September 30, 2024.
NEOEN NEOEN.PA:
The French renewable energy company Neoen NEOEN.PA won 170 MWp of solar projects in the ress 4 tender in the Republic of Ireland.
SAFRAN SAF.PA:
The French high-technology company Safran SAF.PA announced the acquisition of Component Repair Technologies in order to expand its MRO network with a transaction expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
SAINT-GOBAIN SGOB.PA:
Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SGOB.PA entered into exclusive negotiations to divest PAM Building, its sanitary and rainwater drainage business with a closing of the transaction expected by end-2024.
