Europe before the bell: futures down, cenbank bonanza looms

EUROPE BEFORE THE BELL: FUTURES DOWN, CENBANK BONANZA LOOMS
European futures are heading for drops at the open, as traders look ahead to upcoming central bank decisions, with the Fed meeting on Wednesday and the Bank of Japan and Bank of England on Thursday.
EuroSTOXX50 STXEc1 futures are off 0.32%, while FTSE futures FFIc1 are down 0.5% and DAX futures FDXc1 are ticking 0.2% lower.
Shares in Germany's Thyssenkrupp NCH2.DE were up 4% in early trade in Frankfurt after results.
Attention remains on developments at Volkswagen VOWG_p.DE where union talks continued late into the night on Monday with the outcome still murky.
An Italian court has given the government and Telecom Italia TLIT.MI until Jan. 20 to discuss a potential accord over the phone group's request it gets 1 billion euros ($1 billion) from the state, a source with knowledge of the matter said.
Fast fashion retailer Shein is considering asking UK regulators to waive listing rules that require at least 10% of its shares to be sold to the public in its planned London flotation, two people with knowledge of the matter said.
