** ECL raises full-year adj profit forecast to a range of $6.40 and $6.70 per share from prior forecast of $6.10 to $6.50 per share

** Co to sell its global surgical solutions business to private medical supplier Medline for $950 million in cash
** Deal is expected to close in the second half of the year
