Disney parks face short-term challenges against future potential, MoffettNathanson says

** Brokerage believes DIS parks are well-positioned for long-term growth
** DIS CFO said earlier this month that co has "built some negative" into its parks forecast, reflecting the opening of Epic Universe
** ESPN's flagship direct-to-consumer streaming service, which is expected to launch in fall 2025, could be a source of incremental growth while pay TV will remain "best place" for sports fans even after its launch - brokerage
** Parks' stability and sports growth in FY26 are two other central pieces to Disney's story - brokerage
** DIS said in 2023 it would nearly double capital expenditure for its parks business to about $60 billion over the next 10 years
** Average rating of 35 brokerages covering the stock is "buy," their median PT is $125.55 - LSEG
** Up to last close, stock up ~26% this year
