Nov 18 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:
** South Africa's Telkom TKGJ.J has suspended plans to sell part of its fibre business, CEO Serame Taukobong said, as the fixed broadband service helped drive the company's half-year income. nL1N3MP07N
** Orla Mining OLA.TO will buy the Musselwhite Gold Mine in Ontario from Newmont NEM.N in a deal valued at $850 million that will help more than double its production of the precious metal, the Canadian miner said. nL4N3MP0PX
** Canadian fund Brookfield BN.TO plans to offer about 7 billion euros ($7.4 billion) for Spanish drugmaker Grifols GRLS.MC after finishing due diligence, news website El Confidencial reported , citing sources close to the matter. nL8N3MP09R
** India's Tata Electronics has agreed to buy a majority stake in Taiwanese contract manufacturer Pegatron's only iPhone plant in India, forming a new joint venture that strengthens Tata's position as an Apple supplier, two sources told Reuters. nL1N3MP02H
