Sept 25 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions, and disposals were reported by 1940 GMT on Wednesday:
** Franco-Italian automaker Stellantis STLAM.MI and French nuclear fuels firm Orano have dropped their planned joint venture to recycle electric car batteries, both companies said. nL4N3L71GP
** L Catterton, the private equity firm backed by luxury goods giant LVMH LVMH.PA, clinched a deal to acquire a majority stake in pilates studio operator Solidcore from its current owners. nL1N3L70KQ
** Austria-based real estate company Immofinanz IMFI.VI said it has increased its stake in S Immo SIAG.VI to 89% to become the sole shareholder for 608.5 million euros ($677.63 million). nL4N3L71GE
** Lightspeed Commerce LSPD.TO, a Canadian payments software maker with a market value of C$2.8 billion ($2.08 billion), is working with a financial advisor to exploring options including a potential sale, according to people familiar with the matter. nL1N3L70XP
** U.S. Steel X.N said the board of arbitration has ruled in favor of Nippon Steel's 5401.T $14.9 billion buyout of the company, but the United Steelworkers union disagreed with the decision. nL4N3L719N
** Brazilian oil company Prio PRIO3.SA is in talks with China's oil and chemicals firm Sinochem [RIC:RIC:SASADA.UL] for the potential purchase of a stake in the Peregrino oil field, it said in a securities filing. nL1N3L70KX
** British real estate portal Rightmove RMV.L rejected a sweetened $8.1 billion takeover proposal from Rupert Murdoch-owned Australian property listing firm REA Group REA.AX, saying the increased bid was still "unattractive". nL4N3L70H3
** The German government has ruled out increasing its stake in Commerzbank CBKG.DE again in the takeover dispute with Italy's Unicredit CRDI.MI during a meeting of the parliamentary finance committee, lawmaker Michael Schrodi said. nS8N3JU05P
** South Korea's Hanwha Ocean said in a regulatory filing it 042660.KS has halted talks to acquire Australian shipbuilder Austal ASB.AX. nL1N3L707R
** British homeware retailer Dunelm's DNLM.L top shareholder, Will Adderley, and his private investment firm have sold a 4.9% stake in the company for 114 million pounds ($152.92 million) to institutional investors, bookrunner Barclays said on Tuesday. nL4N3L60M8
** KKR & Co KKR.N and Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC have appointed Bank of America BAC.N, Jefferies JEF.N, and UBS UBSG.S to sell their majority stake in the Philippines' Metro Pacific Health in a deal that could value the company at $3.2 billion, three people with knowledge of the matter said. nL1N3L7040
