** Holcim's HOLN.S $30 billion New York spinoff of its North American business has come under fire from an environmental group that said the major cement maker was doing too little to tackle climate change. nL1N3L10QI
** German media empire Axel Springer will be split between CEO Mathias Doepfner and private equity firm KKR KKR.N, the company said on Thursday, in a deal that secures the billionaire chief executive's control over news titles Bild and Politico. nL8N3L10EZ
** Shell's SHEL.L planned sale of a stake in the Schwedt refinery in Germany is being delayed by pending lawsuits by third parties, two people familiar with the matter said, stalling a divestment the company has waited years for. nL8N3L00JX
** Intel INTC.O said it had no plans to sell its majority stake in Mobileye Global MBLY.O, sending shares of the self-driving tech firm up more than 8% in premarket trading. nL4N3L10YI
** Renewable developer Sonnedix is increasing its solar power capacity in Italy with a series of acquisitions, its CEO told Reuters, adding the company was also looking at opportunities to develop battery storage projects in the country. nL8N3L01MF
** The sale of a stake in the Middle East, North Africa and central Asia Starbucks SBUX.O franchise operated by Kuwait's AlShaya Group is on hold, two people with knowledge of the process said. nL8N3L00LG
** Shares in German property firm Deutsche Wohnen DWNG.DE jumped as much as 25% on Thursday as it started talks about a full takeover offer from its parent company Vonovia VNAn.DE. nL8N3L10EW
** Close Brothers Group CBRO.L has agreed to sell its wealth management unit, Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM), to private equity firm Oaktree Capital Management for up to 200 million pounds ($265 million). nL4N3L10JT
** UniCredit CRDI.MI was able to buy 4.5% of Commerzbank CBKG.DE from the German state because the government trusts the Italian bank, its CEO said in a newspaper interview, ruling out any "aggressive" moves such as an unsolicited buyout bid. nL8N3L1072
** Seiko Epson 6724.T said it plan to buy all equity interests of U.S. printing service provider Fiery LLC for about $592.5 million in a bid to accelerate growth in the digital printing businesses. nL1N3L01DY
** Chesapeake Energy's $7 billion acquisition of rival natural gas producer Southwestern Energy is expected to close early in the fourth quarter, CEO Nick Dell'Osso said on Wednesday. nL1N3L01BZ
** U.S. utility Vistra VST.N announced on Wednesday it would acquire the 15% equity it does not already own in its subsidiary Vistra Vision for nearly $3.25 billion in cash. nL4N3L01O5
** Mobile games developer Playtika PLTK.O said on Wednesday it would acquire peer SuperPlay in a deal that could go up to $1.95 billion, which would bring popular games such as Bingo Blitz and Dice Dreams under the same umbrella. nL4N3L01LU
** WillScot Holdings WSC.O mutually terminated its $3.8 billion acquisition of McGrath RentCorp MGRC.O, the latter said on Wednesday. nL4N3L0187
