** Co expects Q3 core sales to grow ~$3.7 bln, below $3.75 bln estimate, LSEG
** GLW reports Q2 core sales of $3.60 bln and net sales of $3.25 bln
** Core EPS for Q2 was 47 cents vs 46 cents estimate -LSEG
