BEIJING, Dec 16 (Reuters) -China's coal output rose to a record daily high in November, data from the statistics bureau showed on Monday, setting the world's largest coal industry on track for another record year.

China mined 427.98 million metric tons last month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

Average daily production in November was 14.27 million tons, the highest level on record. By comparison, average daily output was 13.28 million tons in October and 13.82 million the month before that.

In November, the state-owned asset regulator urged state enterprises to increase output in anticipation of winter heating demand, leading analysts to expect production increases in the final two months of the year.

The November figure brought coal output over the first 11 months of the year to 4.32 billion metric tons. That was up 1.2% year-on-year, putting China on track to surpass last year's record high of 4.66 billion metric tons.
