CHICAGO, Dec 12 (Reuters) -Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Thursday.

WHEAT - Steady to up 1 cent per bushel

* Wheat futures ticked up as the market weighed uncertainty over Russian export supply against progress in harvesting large crops in Argentina and Australia.

* Wheat drew support this week from a U.S. Department of Agriculture report, in which the agency lowered its estimate for U.S. ending stocks this season.

* On Thursday, the USDA reported net export sales of U.S. wheat for the week ended Dec. 5 at 290,200 metric tons, at the low end of trade expectations that ranged from 275,000 to 600,000 tons.

* CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH25 was last up 1/2 cent at $5.63-3/4 a bushel. K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH25 was last down 1-1/4 cents at $5.66 a bushel and Minneapolis March spring wheat MWEH25 was down 1-1/2 cents to $6.05-1/2 a bushel.

CORN - Down 1 to 2 cents per bushel

* Chicago corn eased off a 5-1/2 month high as futures lost a rally driven by brisk demand and Tuesday's U.S. Department of Agriculture report that said improved U.S. exports would push U.S. end-of-season stocks to a two-year low.

* The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported net export sales of U.S. corn at 946,900 tons, below trade expectations of 1,100,000 to 1,900,000 tons.

* CBOT March corn CH25 was last down 2 cents at $4.46-1/4 a bushel.

SOYBEANS - Steady to up 1 cent per bushel

* Chicago soybean futures were nearly unchanged as strength from outside markets balanced out expectations of large harvests in Brazil and Argentina.

* Brazilian crop agency Conab on Thursday raised its forecast of 2024/25 soybean production to a new record.

* The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported net export sales of 1,173,800 tons, below trade estimates of 1,500,000 to 2,200,000 tons.

* U.S. exporters sold 334,000 tons of soybeans to unknown destinations for 2024/25 delivery, the USDA said in a daily reporting system.

* CBOT January soybeans SF25 were last up 3/4 cent at $9.96-1/4 per bushel.
