Belarus proposes 'solutions' on German citizen on death row, RIA agency says
MOSCOW, July 20 (Reuters) -Diplomats from Germany and Belarus have been discussing the fate of a German national who had been sentenced to death in Belarus, and Minsk proposed some "solutions", RIA news agency reported on Saturday, citing Belarusian foreign ministry.
Belarusian human rights organisation Viasna said on Friday that the German national it named as Rico Krieger had been sentenced to death in Belarus on charges related to terrorism and mercenary activity, citing unnamed sources.
