** Alibaba said in a regulatory filing on Monday it was considering carrying out the transaction and the cash raised would be used for debt repayment and funding share repurchases

** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index .HSNC adds 0.5%, Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH gains 0.7% and Hang Seng Index .HSI climbs 0.9%

** Hong Kong-listed stock up 14.6%, YTD
