XM Provides Aid to Indonesian Earthquake Victims

In November 2022, XM and Benih Baik, a local non-profit organisation, collaborated to donate food to the victims of the devastating earthquake which had hit West Java, Indonesia. On November 21, the Cianjur region, located on the west coast of Java Island, suffered a 5.6 magnitude earthquake. Its shallow epicentre made the disaster particularly severe, resulting in thousands of citizens losing their lives or being injured. In December we visited children at the Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa with our friends at the Reach for a Dream foundation with a mission to put smiles on their faces. The 5th XM Charity Brunch for Ugandan Orphans

In December 2022, XM organized our 5th charity brunch. Goods made in Uganda and brunch dishes were sold in our Cyprus and Greece offices to raise money for Ugandan orphans. This event is part of XM’s ongoing support to the Saint Antonios of Monde Orphanage. XM Continues to Support a Dog Shelter in Cyprus

In November, we donated to Sirius Dog Sanctuary in Cyprus towards buying puppy food. It was also an opportunity for our volunteers to spend a day at the shelter, playing with dogs and helping to feed and walk them. Sirius Dog Sanctuary is home to over 170 stray dogs. XM Sponsored Installation of Plastic Recycling Fish in Cyprus

In November a giant metal fish-shaped sculpture for plastic recycling was installed at the Germasogeia beach in Cyprus, Limassol. The initiative was a joint project by the Ena Emeis organization and XM to encourage recycling and combat plastic pollution. XM Donates to Iraq Charities Supporting Orphans & Children in Need

XM has collaborated with Nobles Charitable Foundation and Shareteah Humanitarian Organization in Iraq to support orphans and children in need from Baghdad and Dohuk continue their education. Many children without the support and care of family struggle to meet the basic costs going to school and are forced to drop out. In October 2022, XM funded the prawning event hosted by Singapore Red Cross for children from low-income families as part of the Young Hearts Enrichment Programme.
