Mission Nepal: Completed Successfully

XM, together with the NGO Rhea Foundation, made a plan to travel across Nepal in areas where normal cars cannot access with ease in an effort to deliver shoes, clothing and medicine to children, monasteries and people in great need after the devastating earthquake of April 2015, which left more than 8,000 dead and thousands of people homeless. The Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee (FOMC) kept interest rates unchanged on Wednesday at the first policy meeting of the year and the first since Donald Trump took office as US President. The decision was widely expected given that the Committee had only raised rates in December by 25bps to a target range of 0.50-0.75%.
