XM has recently donated to the OrphanCare Foundation in Malaysia to support their special program that rehouses children abandoned by their families. The foundation was established in 2008 in response to the increasing numbers of abandoned children. Their goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment and improve children’s well-being by placing them in the care of a loving family. XM continues to partner with the UNHCR in support of the National Emergency Response Mechanism (NERM) that protects unaccompanied refugee children in Greece. In March 2022, more than 6,000 children entered Greece due to the Ukrainian crisis, making NERM’s efforts even more important.
